thanks Thomas 🕸🕷
Amazing :O
That teal turquoise blue scale is absolutely breathtaking.
Nice and useful review, thank you !
Thoman I noticed you also got some really good results some years ago from the pentax k200D. I have that camera body also. What external flash did you use please? Kee pup the good work.
Superb photos and website. I have the same camera so I have to try this. Thanks man.
I have a 28 mill sigma super wide lens as well with decent optics to reverse.
Man your a blooming good artist as well you talented sod.
Free stuff!! Name engraved!! I believe your review and opinion of this product.
Thank you....Excellent video
I really wish more species like this one were available as pets ngl
Wonderful video - imaging and content are both very interesting and well presented. Thank you.
Any jumping spider is a joy to find. I remember finding one on my screen door years ago, and when I held out my hand it jumped on it and just checked me out. Fascinating little animals.
It's very beautiful!
WOW! Beautiful animals in a most beautiful landscape! People with arachnophobia should watch this video. YT suggested my your video as I watched another video about macro photography with the 'Makrofotografie mit OM-1 II', OM SYSTEM 90mm f/3,5 ED Makro IS PRO Micro four thirds, flashlight FL-900R and a fancy AK parabolic reflector. I wish, I would own this configuration as the OM-1 II supports focus stacking in the camera and can shoot many pictures very fast with the focus stacking. Equipment for macrop photography really improved over the years - as a friend told me he did macro photography with his Canon and the lense mounted seperatly on a piece of wood to get the distance and the gap was covered with a bellows which made the whole construction only useable stationary at home. With the new digi cams - especially the OM-1 II, you can run around in the field and shoot many scenes free handed. What an improvement! Regards and happy picture shooting! ;)
What a marvellous video and gorgeous little creatures. Thankyou so much for sharing this :)
Great video! I had the privilege of finding some H. americanus and hirsutus on campus at Spokane Community College where I go to school, amazing little guys! Edit: I've heard that edges of different ground features like the sides of trails and even some more natural landscaping (where I found my americanus)
Are we not going to talk about the apocalyptic amount of moths in your bedroom?
These guys move so fast, it's hard to get a good shot... but when they want to pose, they make great subjects !! This male Habronattus americanus is a beauty !
That ant was such a 🍆 blocker 😂
It's Lucas the spider in real life
Awesome looking spider. The jumping spider breeds seem to be very intelligent , not saying the others are less, and is constantly assessing his situation. Cool Man ! :O)
oO,,Oo
Peak macro as always
HAS ANYONE TOLD YOU THAT YOU RESEMBLE THE SPIDERS? ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU HAVE IRRIDECENT SUNGLASSES ON!
That h Američas art is the same Picture as the h americus picture in the video game spider2
Good eye! I did some art for that game! More here: www.flickr.com/photos/panbasket/15148254643/
I had no idea there was such a colorful jumping spider, the most colorful one I’ve seen here in Southern California had Iridescent green fangs.
Im an hour north, bordering Montana in Lerhbridge, Alberta. I wonder if they are here? Ive been wanting to look fir jumping spiders. Finding one of these to photograph would be amazing!
Just came across your channel, great photography and video. Love the jumping spiders.
I'm so glad you ended up finding them! Gorgeous spiders, scenery, everything! Saving this to come back to when I need some extra beauty in my life.
Jumping spiders are my favourites. They seem to have such a fun personality.
Thank you for sharing these amazing adventures with us, Thomas. Your photography is superb!
Habronattus orbus was my lifer Habro! Trying to find americanus this spring, gonna be in Montana for a week, try my luck!
Whatever you find, hope we'll get to see it!
Hi Thomas, I ve been waiting for another video of yours for so long .. 🥹 again soothing, addicting trip video which only ends with a feeling of wish it was much longer 😅
Such an enjoyable video. A great inspiration.
Gorgeous vidéo and species. As usual a real pleasure to see your videos and shots.
Wonderful video!!! Amazing photos!!! Marvelous work!!!
Thanks for sharing, beautiful video, and photos as usual! I used to follow you from the time on flickr How you could find jumping spiders by walking on a field, baffles me. Are there so many habronattus in the wild, that by walking in a random field there are so high chances to see them? I cannot find dragonflies when I try to find them at sunrise, in areas where they fly in the thousands during the day, lol!
Your merch is a little odd, because you've got several shirts there that have a specific workshop date and place on them, which I would feel silly wearing because I didn't attend those workshops. But since the words don't form an integral part of the design it seems like it would be trivial to add a print-on-demand variant alongside them that didn't have those words on it. I would otherwise love to buy the "BugShot Montana 2022 Shirt"
What a wonderful video! Lovely commentary as usual. And a reinforcement of passion trumping gear. I have developed a respect for spiders since accidentally stumbling upon your videos a few years back. And now, I'll look out for Habronattus as well! All the best for your future videos
That look on their face, " This guy has three eyes". 😊
I m a good macro photographer too 😅
Love this
The blind any just created a missed connection
awesome video!
Love seeing the different habrotats! Very different from where the H. americanus like to be up here.
O U T S T A N D I N G as usual! Saw your super sharp H. americanus portrait on iNaturalist - this video makes that complete. Thanks.
Never thought I'd see a jumping spider get cockblocked by an ant
Amazing footage! Thank you for bringing us on yet another journey.
